Our Story

Miss Florida Volunteer was founded in 2021 as a preliminary pageant to the Miss America Volunteer Pageant. Our goal is to continue to grow this program so that it impacts the lives of young women all across the state of Florida! As a titleholder in the Miss Volunteer America organization, contestants will grow as young women and professionals. Every titleholder will have the opportunity to further their educational endeavors and pursue passions with the backing of a nationally recognized and respected organization.

Symbolism of the Crown

Each of the 5 points on the crown represent a principle in our organization’s mission. Together, the first letter of each of those five principles spells: SERVE

Scholarship. Education. Responsibility. Volunteerism. Empowerment.

Phases of Competition

We have four phases of competition: private interview, talent, fitness and wellness, and evening gown. Each phase counts for 25% of the contestant’s total score.
